The celebration of the Resurrection of Christ is full of images – the empty tomb – the angel’s voice, “He is not here, He is Risen from the dead.”
Святкування Воскресіння Христового сповнене містичних образів - порожня гробниця - голос ангела, "Його немає тут, Він Воскрес із мертвих."
When we talk about the resurrection of Jesus, we have nothing to compare it to. This is something that does not fit into words.
Коли ми говоримо про Воскресіння Ісуса, у нас немає нічого, щоб порівнювати з чимсь. Це те, що не вписується в слова.
Come you all: enter into the joy of your Lord. You the first and you the last, receive alike your reward; you rich and you poor, dance together; you sober and you weaklings, celebrate the day.”
Приходьте всі: увійдіть в радість Господа нашого. Ви перші і ви останні, отримайте нагороду; Ви багаті і ви бідні, танцюйте разом; Ви здорові, і ви ослаблені, святкуйте Великий День".
Think about this, we are called to celebrate Resurrected Jesus, and to celebrate Him with absolutely everybody, no matter how who he is. Money is not a judge of success - strength is not a measure of success either. It seems as if the one thing that is needed is to be able to accept absolutely everybody, no matter who or what they are. If we can interiorize this, we would have done something amazing…
Подумайте про це, ми покликані, щоб святкувати Воскреслого Ісуса, і покликані абсолютно всі, незалежно від того, як хто він є. Гроші не суддя успіху - сила не міра успіху. Здається, ніби одна річ, яка необхідна, щоб мати можливість прийняти абсолютно всіх, незалежно від того, хто або що вони є. Якщо б ми могли зрозуміти це, ми б зробили щось дивовижне...
